Boo Hoo Hoo!!

It's raining and raining and raining....I hear that this is the truth many places on the West Coast and that there is loads of cold, cold and/or snow lots of other places.
It's only the end of January and I am already for a week in the SUN!
I know that I am grateful that I am not in Haiti cleaning up the problems that the earthquake there heart goes out to the beautiful people. I am so pleased to see the help that is coming through for the cause.
Thanks to all who have come to the rescue!!

But what about Me? Here's what the sky looks like at 8:50 am today. This sky does Not make me want to get up and get things done!
I know that most can relate to this nonsense..."it's winter"... but I am a Sun girl and I don't care for it. I should live in a place where it rains...hard even....for...hey, I'm up for 24 hours straight....and then it clears with blue skies and sun!

I mostly want to curl up into a a lot of TV...knit socks...and of course eat loads of carbs...including chocolate.... Anything.
Really...the fact that I have not fallen into this is an amazing feat!
Even Buddah...though he's too cool to say getting tired of the muck.

I don't want to go outside....
I don't want to do any of the inside work that I have to do....
My mind wanders off into the land of icky subjects and tries it's best to settle there....
I'm constantly trying to find my way out of the land of icky subjects.....

I would love to hear what you are doing during this gray time. If you are one of the lucky ones who live in the SUN....can I come visit?....Only joking...sort of.

We are off to Madrona Winter Retreat in a few weeks. It's always a lift..for many reasons!
We then are off to Stitches West in Santa Clara, CA....and a chance of seeing the SUN!!
If you are out there...please check in and say HI....You will brighten MY day!

Haha, it's been raining for two days here too, and it's freakishly warm - nearly 60. My driveway is like a bog. I have been spinning.

Hello Sunshine!

I can't wait to see you in Madrona and get my Ernst hugs. Find some color to work with, it will make any day brighter.

It's sunny in NYC today and the temps have warmed up a bit. It's above freezing this afternoon. I'm actually one of those people who love wintry weather, but I'm pretty much the only one in my family who does! :o
Like Caroline, I'm doing lots of spinning lately.
